It feels like the end is approaching. The end of the school year… the end of me knowing the senior friends I have grown to love… the end of NRHH, and the end of ICRA…. but still I really don’t want it to… I started the day at the SRC, continued it at EHS (washing carts), and then went home to relax in my apartment while talking to Amul. I went to Earl’s where I saw Leah, got a milkshake, and got some cards. About roughly an hour later I would go to NRHH, where we would get free Sprinkles cupcakes! YUM. I gave Cindy her going away and birthday present subsequently. A BALL + A CANDLE. Afterwards, me and Geetha and Johann proceeded to Rashika’s apartment to pick her up before going to the ICRA Banquet. Johann departed us shortly thereafter.
Flash forward to the ICRA Banquet at HomePlate (where I snapped a picture), where Bee-John, Lauren, Alex, Amul, Rashika, Geetha, & Matt all sit together at one table. Also present was Jorge, Nicole, Charlene, Yammi, Adam, Windi, Cindy Lauren, & Hieu. It was relatively fun, but the food wasn’t that great (not to mention the fact that they messed up and our order came out late). It was super awkward hearing Jorge give his spheel about ICRA. Regardless of everything that has happened this year though, I will miss ICRA though, and perhaps will come to a few meetings next year to see how everything goes. At the end, me and Lauren walked Geetha to Geisel before coming back to my apartment… where, she hung out and talked to me and Amul (mostly about rent). I gave her my rent money and she departed, so I could finally get some studying done for the day.

| A new national poll indicates that a majority of Americans don’t like what they’ve heard so far about congressional Republicans’ plans to change Medicare. According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, a majority also don’t think the GOP has cooperated enough with President Barack Obama and, for the first time since they won back control of the House last November, the number of Americans who say that Republican control of the chamber is good for the country has dropped below the 50 percent mark.
