Day 151: A test of my manhood

May 31st, 2011

Today was a true test of my manhood. After waking up super early at 8:20 AM, I dropped off a book at Geisel before making my appointment at the UCSD Student Health Services. I saw Alyssa Wing and chatted with her a bit about her upcoming presidency, the closing libraries, and my prior a.s. campaign. After departing as directed to my Group 1 waiting station, I had to basically waste an hour and a half for both a check up, a urine test, and a blood test. The true test of my manhood came with the needle being injected into the foreground of my skin, and the subsequent bandage I took a picture of as my picture of the day. YAY FOR ME BEING A MAN.

After that painful endeavor (I hate hospitals and needles), I proceeded to class, and then lunch at Pines with Jessica. I went to EH&S shortly thereafter, before going to my next two classes (history with Geetha). We went to a Muir Dessert Party immediately after and got terrible snacks, where I saw Nina Chou. After that, we proceeded to Geisel to study for a bit before I went to class. After class, DINNER AT PHO La Jolla. Not the best place in the world, but quite an enjoyable time spent with Geetha, as we walked in the dark together <24. We went to CVS, as well as Ralph’s where I saw Katherine and her boyfriend James. When we took the shuttle back I walked Geetha back before going back to Warren. When I reached Warren, I was disappointed to not find my Debit Card in my mailbox, but was super surprised and happy when Sandy made me play scavenger hunt to find her in my own apartment. While there, we talked for a little bit, and she surprised me with her leftover Phil’s BBQ. So sad her and other seniors are going to be leaving. :(. When she left, I ended the night studying.
