Project Morality

What is the difference between a good person and a bad person? This can be answered relatively subjectively, with the incorporation of morals and ethics into the dialogue.

What I strive for in 2013 is to become a better person. At the end of the day I have a long list of values, and though my values might conflict with other’s peoples, I try not to ever stray too far from my list. I have a list of 10 fundamentally important traits I wish to maintain in my life, all stored deeply within the confines of my brain. At the same time, I realize there’s always room for personal growth – hence the need for PROJECT MORALITY.

Project Morality is an encompassing project that will consume my life for the entire year. Every week I will choose a moral quality important in society and try my best to personally improve on that trait. At the end of the week, I will have a full report on my observations and experiences with said moral trait. It’s hard to say how this will end up looking in the long run, but after the first post, it should be relatively apparent that I’m dedicated to the challenge.

The first three months of the project will be dedicated to the inspiration for the project, namely the moral traits listed in Benjamin Franklin’s autobiography:
