I had a long “Journey” today, and in the end I couldn’t stop believing. (heh.)
I woke up at 10 am, did P90x, showered, went to work, put refrigerators inside Bonner Hall for EH&S, ate stir fry at Pines cooked by the black guy, kind of went to study at the library, and then went back to my apartment in Warren. I was bummed to realized when I got home that I lost my phone so I had to walk all the way back to work to get it, and then returend to my apartment.
I then proceeded to Sixth College in an effort to look for “The Dogg Room”, which I could end up not finding. I got pissed after being in the phone with someone looking for directions when they just laughed for 30 seconds directly in my ear. Instead, I ate Pizza at Foodworx and it was delicious! I then went to my boring class which I nearly fell asleep in. John Torres did though :).
I ended the night playing boardgames at the ACCB Game Night in the Warren College Room located on the 3rd floor of Price Center (the most fun part of my night, and thus the picture of the day). We played Egyptian War, and Loaded Questions: Adult Version – which is pretty much the best game to play with a group of strangers. The only people I knew / kind of know at the event was Tyler, Matt Olsen, Adam Powers, & Carl (the president of ACCB). I also forgot everyone else’s name but hopefully in time will learn (if I go to meetings and/or ACCB events in the future). I can now see how fun the club is, and why Tyler likes it so much. In the end me and Matt went to Earl’s, and I ended the night completing my Journey.
My journey was as followed: [Warren –> Sixth –> Revelle –> Muir –> Marshall –> Warren –> Sixth –> Center –> Warren]

The reading of the Constitution on the floor of the House of Representatives was going smoothly Thursday morning, that is until someone in the visitors gallery shouted aloud when the subject of presidential eligibility was read. According to a tweet from Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn), who was sitting in the chamber, an individual yelled out about President Barack Obama, apparently rejecting the notion that the president is a natural born citizen. I don’t really know what to think about birthers – I think they’re complete idiots and portray a negative image of the Republican Party as a whole. I would say birthers are as ignorant as the same people as 9/11 conspiracy theorists. If you really think our government planned 9/11, you sadly, are an idiot. |

On January 6th, 2001, George W. Bush was finally declared official winner of the Presidential election by the United States Supreme Court after a five-week long debate regarding Florida voting ballots, and a media firestorm around Al Gore’s desire for a recount. I personally still think anyone that thinks the election was rigged needs to get a clue. George W. Bush won fair and square. Regardless of the CONSERVATIVE Supreme Court and Jeb Bush being the governor of Florida, George W. Bush earned his title. The way the media treated our president during the election results was much paralleled with the way they treated him during the presidency – with contempt and disrespect. You didn’t see the kind of media love for the president as you did with Obama, who got handed the presidency because of his race. |
P.S.: And all I ever wanted was for you to know: Everything I do I give my heart and Soul. I can hardly breathe, I need you here with me. When you’re gone, the pieces of my heart are a missing you, and when you’re gone, the face I came to know is a missing too, and when you’re gone, the words I need to hear will always get me through the day, and make it okay.
