Today I won, America won, and most importantly of all we all won. How? Osama Bin Laden is DEAD. Now, hopefully we can get out of Afghanistan, but I highly doubt that will happen sadly enough…. Today, after studying various hours in my local apartment, I met up with Daniel, Michelle, Rob, Louise, & Ryan at the Goldberg elevators in an effort to go to Phil’s! We went to Phil’s where I snapped a picture of the new mini-bar where you can obtain drinks in line. I fancy! After waiting for roughly 40 minutes, we all ate – and I dug into my El Toro Sandwich and Onion Rings. I still thinks ribs are better though! While there, me and Michelle got 1000000000000 pens, that will hopefully last me for the rest of college. YAY! Joyous day. Then I come home, did some more studying, and found out OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD! After watching some terrible CNN news coverage with Michael and Amul, I went to my room and watched Obama’s cheesy speech, which ended with the last two lines of the pledge of allegiance. It wasn’t horrible, but I’m glad Osama’s dead. By no means is terrorism dead though, and I hope no negative repercussions stem from this development. I went to Geisel to study with Geetha, got my leftover Dominoe’s from her at her place, and went back to my place to close the night doing laundry (with the help of Amul’s laundry basket), and studying some more. Fun Fun Fun Fun. Best start to any month. TERRORIST DEAD. STOMACH FULPHILLED. U.S.A. FULPHILLED, Party in the U.S.A!

| The mastermind of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil is dead, U.S. President Barack Obama announced late Sunday night, almost 10 years after the attacks that killed about 3,000 people. Osama bin Laden — the founder and leader of al Qaeda — was killed by U.S. forces Sunday in a mansion in Abbottabad, north of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, along with other family members, a senior U.S. official told CNN. In an address to the nation Sunday night, Obama called bin Laden’s death “the most significant achievement to date in our nation’s effort to defeat al Qaeda.” 🙂 |
