Today was quite a revolutionary day, because for the first time in a while I had THREE MEALS IN ONE DAY. YAY for healthy. Kind of. This was mosty due to the fact that I had to wake up at 8 AM, something I will have to repeat again for tomorrow. Sad Times. My picture of the day is nothing more than a shameless plug for earth week here at UCSD. Festivities will be happening all week!
So why did I wake up at 8? To get ready to go to AIP Internship Orientation at 9:00 AM. When that was done I studied in Price Center for a bit, talked to Robert & Megan for a bit, ate some Tap Ex (breakfast), and then crashed John Torres’s work break for some nice gossiping-type conversation. After my history class, me, Jessica, and Henry saw a sign for free BBQ at SunGod lawn. Flood, a church group was handing it out, and subsequently, I got my lunch (which I would have overwise skipped). I then proceeded to my room where I tried to nap but failed, went back to AIP for a counselor session where she critiqued and helped fix my resume, and then went to Literature (late), and History. Afterwards, I went to help Amul try to get people to donate blood at CV for ICRA’s Blood Bash. When I left, only two people had signed up. I also had dinner at CV, which was relatively gross. Their stir fry does not equate to Pines stir fry. When I finished my last Comm class, I met up with Bee-John and Geetha at the library, before heading to Earl’s with Geetha, and ending my night watching Glee, studying, and most importantly sleeping!

| University of Michigan senior Abby Marciniak wants a summer job before she heads off to law school in the fall. Darrick Reeves would like to work while taking classes at Eastern Michigan University. Kevin South hopes to find a new position after his previous employer shut down less than a month ago. These and dozens of other job seekers flocked to the McDonald’s on Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, sitting down in booths for interviews as part of the fast-food chain’s first-ever National Hiring Day. With Michigan’s unemployment rate hovering at 10.3%, the company has attracted a lot of attention with its plan to hire more than 2,000 of the state’s residents, part of a push to add 50,000 workers nationwide. DELICIOUS. |
