Day 78: Five Boxes.

March 19th, 2011

I spent the entire day staring at Five Distinct Boxes, inevitably filling my eyes with both regret and redness. I woke up, my mom provided me a nice breakfast/lunch and I was on my way to my first box of the day – The Computer Screen box of my Desktop Computer. I played some YuGiOh, and when the game crashed and didn’t save my progress, I ultimately gave on it. The game was stupid anyway – the only way I was able to even beat the computer at the game was by entering cheat codes. -_-. I then began playing another game, which was much more fun, called Golden Sun (Game Boy Advanced). That kept me entertained for a decent amount of time, but also kept me glued to the computer screen all day. For shame. To be fair, I glanced back and forth from my the desktop computer to my second box, the Ipod Touch, which kept me glued to Words for Friends for a decent amount of the day. I then ate dinner, and Thiep came over about an hour later, as we awaited Earle’s arrival. When he finally got here (5 minutes later), we went to pick up Tiana, and headed to Stater Brothers to get snacks (we settled on fried chicken). and a movie. Subsequently I took a picture of the red “box”, the company that is definitely putting Blockbuster out of business. For good reason. Why in the world wouldn’t anyone rent a movie for merely a dollar a day (unless of course they wanted to pirate it online)? I <24 Redbox.

We headed to Tiana’s house, and all subsequently watched the movie “Megamind” on her huge TV box. It was a relatively okay movie, but Despicable me is definitely the better version of the same premise: super villain who turns good. As Earle took pictures of Tiana for his photo projects, I played two rounds of REAL LIFE Yu-Gi-Oh with Thiep. So I bet you’re wondering if my praticing on the computer of the game for the past few days helped. Guess what? It didn’t, as I lost both duels. -_-. Fail. I went home and stared at my final box of the night, my laptop, as I surfed the web the remainder of the night.
