Today, I woke up, studied a bit for my vocabulary quiz which is tomorrow, and then met Leah and Brittney at Warren Lecture Hall. It was a tad bit difficult to find them in the midst of T.A. quiz distributions, but eventually I found them, and we had a nice trek all the way to Ocean View Terrace, where we ironically got a glimpse of the Ocean View. It was nice, the food wasn’t very good, but it was nice to chat to them about various topics ranging from Glee to ovaries (I don’t know how that topic came up anyhow). After that I swung by Cliques to study for a bit with Geetha, before ultimately heading back to Foodworx to grab a salad, went back to my room to study, ate the said salad, and then went to my Information Age Communications Class.
After that I hurriedly rushed back to the Warren Student Activity Center, where our Valentine’s Day Event was happening! To compete with Sixth College’s free Sprinkles, we had free movie posters from “Just go with it”, but I don’t think it attracted quite a big of a crowd….. In the end, we still had 77 people show up to make paper hearts, gift boxes, and play my couples games (self-designed) to win teddy bears. This is a good thing – meaning that PAW events can be successful as long as there’s door tags for them and advertisements for them roughly everywhere. Shrugs. Every year, ever since I was born, I’ve never had a Valentine’s. It’s still four days away, so we’ll see what happens this year! Anyway, the event was relatively well-run as I got to hang out with Alex, Jake, Matt Diamond, Tyler Nelson, Lauren, Amul, and Louise. I got a rather odd, yet funny secret admirer creeper letter written by an anoynymous person, which so happens to be my picture of the day. I tracked down this mysterious person and it turned out to be none other than the writings of…. TYLER NELSON. That creeper. HAHA. I ended the night going to Earl’s and studying.
