Day 298: All I do is eat eat eat no matter what

October 25th, 2011
Today, I did a variety of things, which included of course eating. I went to Vietnamese class in the morning and took a pretty elaborate midterm, before proceeding directly to work. Tiffany Saw couldn’t make lunch with me, so I went ahead and went straight to EHS, where I was able to drive a car and pump gas in it for the first time (EVER). I picked up Geetha, we went through the car wash, and then we proceeded back to EHS where we would hang out for a bit while I did work. She went home, and I departed soon afterwards to get lunch at Farmer’s Market with Alexis. I ate delicious lemongrass chicken (pictured above) as we did some pretty stupid logic puzzles. We went to Geisel afterwards where I began research for my COGN150 documentary. I went to York afterwards to meet up with Geetha, we went back to Sixth where we would go to Foodworx and then watch the First episode of “An American Horror Story”, which was okay at best. I went back home to play the Sims, do a little bit of research, cook some rice, wait a few hours for that rice to be able to be turned into fried rice, watched the pilot of Once Upon a Time (GREAT SHOW!), and ate and consumed my fried rice. The end.

History
Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, is born in Malaga, Spain. Picasso’s father was a professor of drawing, and he bred his son for a career in academic art. Picasso had his first exhibit at age 13 and later quit art school so he could experiment full-time with modern art styles. He went to Paris for the first time in 1900, and in 1901 was given an exhibition at a gallery on Paris’ rue Lafitte, a street known for its prestigious art galleries. The precocious 19-year-old Spaniard was at the time a relative unknown outside Barcelona, but he had already produced hundreds of paintings. Winning favorable reviews, he stayed in Paris for the rest of the year and later returned to the city to settle permanently. OVERRATED.

News
2012 GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul raked in almost $3 million in small donations over the last five days during his latest fundraising push. The twelve-term congressman launched his “Black This Out” moneybomb following the CNN Western Republican Debate in Las Vegas. Claiming he did not speak for 40 minutes during the debate, Paul turned his gripe into a grab for funds by blasting supporters with a request to donate from October 19th to Monday at noon. DEBATES ARE USELESS UNLESS YOU LET THE FRONTRUNNER SPEAK!
