When I write “Prequel” Studying, I mean the thing that happens before the actual studying & cramming, the typing up & accumulation of all my notes for the quarter, which I worked on very diligently today. I woke up, went to work, and then left to go study for a bit at Geisel. While walking there I bumped into John Cuellar, who just so happened to have recovered his legs back after being in a cast all quarter. At Geisel I would begin taking notes on all my readings for communications for the quarter, while simultaneously bumping to and chatting with Alexis for a bit. I left to get a blue t-shirt to wear to Sixth College Student’s Council free BBQ. Unfortunately for me, they didn’t even regulate the wearing of the certain colors. -_-. Hard work for nothing.
I would go to the said BBQ with Geetha and Bee-John, but the most interesting part of it was when a random stranger asked me if I was Flush the John. Yes…. I guess I am. The funny part was he was standing next to Parminder when he said he would vote for me. I went ahead and told him to vote for Paraminder, one of the more serious contenders for the position. In terms of the BBQ, it wasn’t very good – I was expecting a traditional burger & hot dog, but instead we got some weird chicken and rice and vegetable combo. After everyone split ways, I went to my apartment to surf the Internet for a bit. Unfortunately it was down. Discouraged, I took a long nap, waking up to go to Foodworx & class with Geetha. Afterwards I would go to Johann’s apartment in ERC to help him with video editing. We’re back on square 1 as we reuploaded all the footage into Windows Movie Maker 2.0, but I snapped a nice picture of Johann’s hate wall for my picture of the day. It includes lots of notable things, including the Guardian, which Johann just so happened to get fired from. They fail. =/. Afterwards I would go back to my apartment to do laundry, and ultimately finish my “Prequel” study, in the form of typing up my notes.
| An 8.9-magnitude earthquake hit northern Japan on Friday, triggering tsunamis and sending a massive body of water filled with debris that included boats and houses inching toward highways. The epicenter was 373 kilometers (231 miles) away from the capital, Tokyo, the United States Geological Survey said. But residents there felt the tremors. The quake rattled buildings and toppled cars off bridges and into waters underneath. Waves of debris flowed like lava across farmland, pushing boats, houses and trailers toward highways. In Tokyo, crowds gathered in the streets and tried to reach relatives via cell phone. SO SAD. :(. My hearts and prayers are with everyone there.

On March 10th, 1969, The verdict had been decided. James Earl Ray pleaded guilty of the crime of assassinating Martin Luther King, Jr. a major civil rights leader of the times. King was killed in Memphis Tennessee on April 4, 1968. Ray was sentenced 99 years in prison. Asshole deserved to die. -_-. MLK was a great man, who wasn’t as much of an extremist as Malcolm X, and I truly believed he helped African Americans take their civil rights through peaceful, effective means. |
