I am now wide awake since September has officially ended.

This month didn’t entail anything special, besides mostly getting acquainted to my new place in Los Angeles. I give it a solid C+, since I have to climb up a huge flight of stairs every morning just to get to my car. Also, the surrounding area isn’t so great, so that makes me less likely to want to live there for a long time. I got some bug bites too since moving in, but I’m hoping all these negativities are it when it comes to this place, and it’s an upward slope from here.
I finished my second class of my Master’s Program, and continued working at Rise Kohyang Middle School. It’s a stressful job that requires so much of my energy (I’d say about double the amount of a public school), but it’s okay for now since I’m still single and still kind of young.
Some highlights including having the opportunity to volunteer with students this month at three different parts of Orange County – the LAX Dunes, at CBS Studios, and Helen Bernstein High school. I miss volunteering quite a great deal and being able to provide students the opportunity to do so as well brings great joy into my life. Builder’s Club is going okay. I went to a Kiwanis meeting to get it “inducted” as a national organization but they have yet to respond to my email (after voting unanimously to approve it). While Builder’s Club is mostly comprised of girls (from 7th & 8th grade), my Pokemon Club is mostly comprised of boys from 6th grade.

October is coming and subsequently comes my midlifecrisis+1.
