And things didn’t go well
Like a bad virus,
Things all went to hell
I went to lunch with my friends
Renato’s Restaurant was where
We talked about trends
Without any a care
When Triet and Thiep went home
Earle and I went to Fry’s
We roamed and roamed
Until we nearly died
Back at my house I would start
To watch some Once upon a time
It was dumb, not smart
and a waste of my prime
Eventually I would come to see
That my camera was missing
Where, oh where could it be?
The clock is still ticking……….
Merry Christmas everyone, (and hopefully my camera shows up again, or else 365 is in serious Jeopardy yet again).

| On December 24, 1979, the Soviet Union invades Afghanistan, under the pretext of upholding the Soviet-Afghan Friendship Treaty of 1978. As midnight approached, the Soviets organized a massive military airlift into Kabul, involving an estimated 280 transport aircraft and three divisions of almost 8,500 men each. Within a few days, the Soviets had secured Kabul, deploying a special assault unit against Tajberg Palace. Elements of the Afghan army loyal to Hafizullah Amin put up a fierce, but brief resistance. What destroyed the Soviet economy might destroy the United State’s too…. |

| The Virginia Republican Party announced Saturday that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich had failed to gather enough signatures to run in the state’s GOP presidential primary, an embarrassing setback that underscored how far he has to go to build a fully functioning campaign organization just days before the first votes of the primary season. LOL FAIL. |
P.S.:
