Day 340: John Tran to the Rescue!

December 6th, 2011
Today the savior within me came out, as shown by how well I took care of Geetha. After she called me at 5 AM telling me her struggles all night due to food poisoning, I could not bear to sleep. Instead, I took the quickest 201 I could find at 6:15 rushing to her place by 6:30. There, I nursed her to some decent health before the wee hours of the morning, where I would take her to Student Health Services. She got a check up from the nurse who told her of her dehydration, subsequently hooking her up to an IV line. I snapped a picture of her string subsequently. Struggled with the dilemma of starvation, I shortly left the building for a quick trip to the ACCB Commuter lounge, where I would pick up some quick L&L for lunch. NomNoms. While she napped/slept the rest of the day, I studied for a bit, and did random various playful tasks on the Internet including playing the Sims and watching Ron Paul videos. At 8 PM I watched Glee with Geetha before going with her to Market to get her some soup. I ate some noodles at the same time, ending the night watching Friends with her. The day was saved.

As early as 1783, the infant U.S. Congress decided that a statue of George Washington, the great Revolutionary War general, should be placed near the site of the new Congressional building, wherever it might be. After then-President Washington asked him to lay out a new federal capital on the Potomac River in 1791, architect Pierre L’Enfant left a place for the statue at the western end of the sweeping National Mall (near the monument’s present location). GEORGE WASHINGTON, A GOOD PRESIDENT…
