Day 318: My Favorite Sauces

November 14th, 2011
Another week starts with another Monday. I went to COGN150, opted out of POLI113A to go to work on some documents, went to Howard’s office hours for a tad bit, and then immediately went to COMT100. When the ordeal of classes was over I happily went to Price Center to hang up Ron Paul fliers up for a bit before visiting Geetha at her place. We decided to go grocery shopping… at Ralph’s. (I ate Chipotle first), and then bought eggs, bananas, hot cheetos, milk, cereal and various other supplies, including the two wonderful bottles pictured above [which I will ultimately use tomorrow to make fried rice.] I then went home to do some Vietnamese homework before going back to Geetha’s place to have deep conversations about religion, dolphins, before watching more of “The story of us”, a biased American documentary. She also cooked me some delicious Pasta, some of which will be my lunch tomorrow. WHEEEE

History
On this day in 1851, Moby-Dick, a novel by Herman Melville about the voyage of the whaling ship Pequod, is published by Harper & Brothers in New York. Moby-Dick is now considered a great classic of American literature and contains one of the most famous opening lines in fiction: “Call me Ishmael.” Initially, though, the book about Captain Ahab and his quest for a giant white whale was a flop. TOO BAD I NEVER READ IT…
News
“Glee” star Lea Michele is detailing all her ups and downs on the road to fame in Allure’s December issue. Back when she was actually a high school student and not just playing one on TV, the now 25-year-old actress had an especially disturbing meeting that left her singing the blues. SHE KNOWS BEING VEGAN IS HER CHOICE. FREEDOMMMMMMMMMMM.

P.S.:
