Day 276: Presentation Success!

October 3rd, 2011
On the 276th day of my 365 project, and subsequently the 2nd day of being vegetarian, I am super proud of my presentation skills being broadcast in COGN150. After relaxing at Price Center for roughly an hour, extremely nervous and anxious in anticipation for my upcoming presentation, it was time for class…. Now, I thought I would get to present 2nd, but instead I presented 3rd (not in order of syllabus), but this ended up working out well because for some reason I went over the designated 20 minutes, to a 50 minute presentation. The professor didn’t seem to mind at all as I was praised by various peers in my classroom for an impressive showing. Afterwards I went to Polisci, before Geetha surprised me with Foodworx Salad which I ate at Price Center. YUM IRON IN THE FORM OF BROCCOLI. We went to the bookstore afterwards where Geetha got a delicious white Iphone case. Then we proceeded to Geisel before I went to my extremely long and drawn out COMT100 class. Dinnertime was fun time as Bee-John and I reunited, eventually settling on Bombay Coast. We would find out later that the food would give us both headaches, subsequently causing me to vow to never eat there again. I went home, hanging up my class schedule and using it as my picture of the day, illuminating the routine that Monday atypically brings. I ended the night watching Breaking Bad and studying for my Vietnamese quiz.

History
At the end of a sensational trial, former football star O.J. Simpson is acquitted of the brutal 1994 double murder of his estranged wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. In the epic 252-day trial, Simpson’s “dream team” of lawyers employed creative and controversial methods to convince jurors that Simpson’s guilt had not been proved “beyond a reasonable doubt,” thus surmounting what the prosecution called a “mountain of evidence” implicating him as the murderer. Orenthal James Simpson–a Heisman Trophy winner, star running back with the Buffalo Bills, and popular television personality–married Nicole Brown in 1985. He reportedly regularly abused his wife and in 1989 pleaded no contest to a charge of spousal battery. In 1992, she left him and filed for divorce. On the night of June 12, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were stabbed and slashed to death in the front yard of Mrs. Simpson’s condominium in Brentwood, Los Angeles. By June 17, police had gathered enough evidence to charge O.J. Simpson with the murders. SO MUCH BULLSHIT.
News
Though his campaign has been largely ignored by the mainstream media, Rep. Ron Paul has been making some gains over the course of the last few months. In fact, the longtime Texas Congressman’s momentum has prompted The Blaze to report: “Paul is having such a big impact on the race that some Republican operatives are convinced that he will play spoiler in important states, siphoning votes and attention from his rivals for months to come and helping determine the nominee.” NOT ONLY THAT, BUT HE WILL WIN!
