Day 243: Big Shoes to Fill

August 31st, 2011It’s the end of the month of August, and today was unlike any other, minus the fact that I came out of it with a new jacket.In the morning I went to EHS going over to 401 for a bit to do some work, where Geetha visited me for roughly 30 seconds. When work was done I went to the Bookstore to buy a Bobble and then went home to my apartment. Alex came over, and picked up her stuff demanding me eat lunch with her on Friday. I replied by agreeing to her ridiculous request. I would eventualy bus back on campus where Geetha would kindly buy me Panda Express while I delivered her her personal bobble. The day was far from done though, as we bused straight to Marshall’s (seeing Jessica on the bus). While there we tried on shoes, jeans, and jackets, where I saw literally the hugest shoes ever, as pictured above. Metaphorically, it represents a perfect example of where I am in life – not sure if I can fullfill the shoes of my predecessors (from Southern Caucasia, obviously). Eventually Geetha got some wonderful tight shoes while I got a nice looking jacket for the Winter 2011 Season. We went to Best Buy afterwards where we calculated the expensive price of tablet PC’s. We would bus back to La Regencia for a bit, talk to Tyler for a bit, before going back to Geetha’s place to end the night watching The Social Network. Decent Movie…. I guess. Goodbye August !
