Day 232: Still Without Groceries

August 20th, 2011
At the start of the day, I had no groceries. By the end of the day, despite going grocery shopping, I still had no groceries. Let’s rewind that, and go into extreme (and unnecessary) detail. After engaging in my atypical morning routine of playing the Sims Online, Tetris, and Farmville (and eating frozen pizza), I proceeded to Ralph’s (And Jamba Juice) with Lauren so that she could go grocery shopping. I had absolutely no idea what to buy, so I ended up not buying anything (and not wasting money as a subsequent result). When I got back, I relaxed online for a bit, until Hiep and Russell came to pick me up. As pictured, we went to Niban Japanese Cuisine where they got sushi, and I got Chicken Teriyaki. It was yum-yum, and when we got back to the apartment we played 2 games: Risk (BORING!), and Catan (which was kind of boring too!). What really kept us entertained was the ability to watch Degrassi while playing, and it was hella’ funny seeing the older seasons. It reminded me of last summer when I zipped through all 10 seasons in 12 days. I definitely miss the older characters though. <24 Emma, Manny, J.T., & Darcy. I ended the night the same way I started it, without groceries.

History
On this day, Ron Paul was born. ENOUGH SAID. ENOUGH SAID. RON PAUL 2012.

News
Texas Rep. Ron Paul’s Saturday birthday bash has left the Republican presidential candidate with an additional $1.5 million. The Texas Republican, who launched a “moneybomb” Saturday, raised nearly $1.5 million, providing him with a solid war chest as the campaign in Iowa continues. Mr. Paul, who has made his “moneybombs” an major component of his campaign, announced the fundraiser on Facebook, calling on supporters to contribute. Within hours Mr. Paul had raised over $250,00. “My birthday has just started and already we’ve raised over $270,000! I am leaving a great campaign event in Florida, and hope the ticker moves up a lot during my plane ride. I’ll be eager to check it on my iPad when I get to Texas,” Mr. Paul wrote in a message on Facebook. Wow, what a wonderful birthday gift…Please spread the word, tell all your friends and consider chipping in right now!” HE WILL SAVE OUR COUNTRY IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY VOTE HIM INTO OFFICE. STOP LETTING THE MEDIA CONTROL YOU!

P.S.: I mean this in the best way possible. It’s time to get someone honest in the whitehouse, some one who will bring real change to the system and end the two party duopoly controlled by the corporate interests in Washington. End the Fed. End the Wars. RON PAUL 2012.
