We went back, played some Catan with Tyler (Lauren won), before Geetha got bored. We subsequently went all the way back to Von’s to buy 1) Juices 2) Milks and 3) Lottery Tickets. Hopefully I win this time. Afterwards, Geetha and I enjoyed some sumshine at Doyle Park (across the street from my place). We played on the swings, slides, slider, monkey bars, among other things. A woman took a picture of me and Geetha to secure for my picture of the day, with us on two sides of a balance beam thing (I can’t quite remember the term for it). Afterwards, we proceeded back to my place where we watched part 1/3 of the Boy Meets World pilot (which wasn’t very good) with Lauren (after ditching and failing to watch Pretty Little Liars). We watched Two episodes of Beyond Belief with Lauren. I loved reliving my childhood and exploring the freaky things that used to scare me years ago. I remember the music was the one thing that freaked me out as a child. Afterwards, I proceeded to Geetha’s place to drink her water and hang out with her.

| On July 24, 1911, American archeologist Hiram Bingham gets his first look at Machu Picchu, an ancient Inca settlement in Peru that is now one of the world’s top tourist destinations. Tucked away in the rocky countryside northwest of Cuzco, Machu Picchu is believed to have been a summer retreat for Inca leaders, whose civilization was virtually wiped out by Spanish invaders in the 16th century. For hundreds of years afterwards, its existence was a secret known only to the peasants living in the region. That all changed in the summer of 1911, when Bingham arrived with a small team of explorers to search for the famous “lost” cities of the Incas. UN AMERICANS…. |

| Democratic and Republican congressional leaders unveiled new deficit reduction plans Monday as top officials scrambled to bridge a cavernous partisan divide and raise the federal government’s debt ceiling before an unprecedented — and potentially devastating — national default. Both plans provide a path to raise the debt ceiling through the end of 2012, but differ sharply in terms of their requirements for future congressional action and both tax and spending reform requirements. IT’S NEVER ENDING…. |
