July 10th, 2011
The day was full of long hurdles and obstacles (in the form of hiking), but inevitably a grand treasure was reached at the end of the road: in the form of Phil’s BBQ. In the morning, me and Geetha went to Marshall’s so I could attain shorts and she could attain shoes, for the purposes of hiking. Afterwards, we got free cupcakes at Sprinkles and ate them at the bus stop, before ultimately arriving at my place. After watching some Degrassi, eating some grilled cheese sandwich and noodles, Tyler came back, and subsequently me, Lauren, Tyler, & Geetha all headed to her car in an effort to go to Torrey Pines. Lauren drove, parked, and we walked to the necessary trail, and hiked downhill, which was pretty chill. The scenery was extremely nice and I subsequently took a picture. It was hot, but chillyas well because it was super windy as we approached the shores of the beach. The long hike back uphill was tough, but we somehow survived, with me and Geetha racing one another to the car (me somehow losing). We got back to the apartment and relaxed for a bit, before I walked Geetha to the bus stop. I finished my laundry, and left shortly thereafter to go to Phil’s.
Leandro and Alexis came to pick me up, Leandro bought some alcohol at Von’s, and we drove to Howard’s place to pick John Torres up. (Unfortunately Howard did not want to come). We started driving, saw Leah on the way, and shouted at her to come meet us at Phil’s. We waited for about an hour in line, Leah met us there, and we subsequently chowed down, me ordering El Toro + Fries, which was just as satisfying as the ribs, but cheaper. Afterwards, they dropped me off, and I spent the rest of the night chillaxing at my place. That includes playing Tetris and watching Big Brother. EXCITING SHOW! <24 Jeff & Jordan. Work tomorrow.
