Today was comprised of two parts: work, and fun. Because having a life in balance as a Warren student sounds like an excellent idea, right?
In the morning I went to training on a Saturday. How sad is that? I woke up at 6 am to take three buses to Taft Middle School, where we played a ton of games all day including: Big Group games, icebreakers, high-energy games, conflict resolution activities, academic activities, and leadership activities. It was all fun and chill, but I was sad I didn’t get a free t-shirt. When all was said and done, I ended up missing the bus, and had to wait for 50 minutes for the next one. Subsequently I walked to CVS to read some magazines for a bit, before ultimately busing back. The picture came out crisp clear and subsequently I used it as my picture of the day. WONDERFUL TWEEN MAGAZINES <24. When I finally got back, I met up with Lauren as she moved in. After I talked to her for a bit, I helped her move in her television and TV stand, before she dropped me off at Geetha’s. After being perpetually confused for 30 minutes, Geetha met up with me, we went to BJ’s for dinner, and then Golden Spoon for dessert, and then Pier 1 Imports to look at decorations for my room. After not buying anything, we went to Geetha’s place for a bit, before heading to my apartment’s housewarming. It was relatively chill, and people I knew included Pinay, Tyler, Alex, Lauren, Chai, among a mass exodus of strangers. Lots of memorable events took place subsequently as I spent the night sober. hehe.
