Today, the terrible early morning routine started as I woke up at 7AM in preparation for work at Environment, Health, and Safety. Still traumatized by the events of last night, I used the picture of a palm tree in my balcony as my picture of the day. Unfortunately for me I was unable to locate the correct bus stop, and subsequently bused the 201 to UTC instead of straight to campus. Subsequently, I arrived to work rather late, and worked quite a bit of hours before running out of activities to do. Shortly thereafter I went to price center to play Tetris, before meeting up with Pam at her apartment. We spent an hour debate endlessly where to go eat, before giving in to eating at Island’s. Delicious! Lunch specials yum! We went to Island’s, and ate, while enjoying one another’s company. Apparently it was also my birthday too and I subsequently received free cake. After we went back to campus we departed as I played more Tetris in Price Center.
When done, I bused back home, and tried to locate the correct bus stop for tomorrow’s extended bus ride (70 minutes). I was unable to do so, but when I got back Tyler told me I had been walking in the wrong direction and that was why I couldn’t find it. I wanted to try my best to avoid an incident that would cause subsequent panic, because unfortunately for me, I cannot be late to this off-campus job. I must make a good impression anyway. Afterwards when Tyler left for Sushi, I bused over to Alexis and Brittney’s place and we played on the park for a bit – on the swings and slide and so-forth. We also watched some of the Bachelerotte (terrible) and Extreme Makeover: Weight Edition before they dropped me back home in La Regencia. They saw my apartment and was subsequently impressed. (and probably jealous). When they left, my night subsequently ended as I decided to rest early in preparation for tomorrow.

| A man was killed early Monday in University City after he lost control of his car and crashed into parked cars and a tree. The driver was heading south at high speed on Regents Road at Berino Court just after midnight when he hit the cars and then ran into a palm tree, San Diego police Detective Dan Wall said. The Chevy Prizm then spun around clockwise and rolled into some utility boxes, collapsing the roof of the car, wall said. The driver was the only one in the car and is believed to have been 20 to 30 years old. His name was withheld because his family was being told of his death. SO SAD. |
