Day 147: Nan Nom Nom Nom

May 27th, 2011

After going to EHS today, I went back to my apartment to edit and finalize the ICRA Wednesday video. And here is my terrible creation:

I then proceeded to the SRC where I worked. Some random guy came in to get water during the middle of my shift and asked if I was John Tran, claiming he remembered me from A.S. elections. YAY, my stunt increased my recognition level 24%. Anyway, after work I proceeded to AP&M to take my Vietnamese Placement Test, which I failed. The professor said I was decent at Vietnamese and placed me at the Intermediate level. She said she was worried I might struggle with the accent marks though, and subsequently I switched to the Beginner level, to give myself a better chance of succeeding. Anyway, after that I met up with Geetha in Sixth as we prepared to go get Indian Food. We bused, taking the 921, and eventually arrived to Indian Tandoor (after numerous stops). The food was delicious, as was the Nan, which I mistakenly called Flan several times. After exploring the pavilion we went back and knocked out as a subsequent result of a food coma. After waking up we went shopping at Ralph’s together, walking up and down the hill. Geetha seemed to have no problem as I struggled to catch my breath each and every time. SIGH. We finalized the night watching Se7en and me failing to pay attention because the movie was just too boring. Hanging out with Geetha was the highlight of my day, and Nan was the highlight of my stomach.
