Day 144: Clean-up Clean-up

May 24th, 2011

Today was simple and straightforward. I spent a majority of my day in the ICRA office cleaning it up. As I have said in yesterday’s post, I will miss ICRA despite all the ups and downs of the year. Though I cleaned quite a bit, I will not be done until Thursday. It’s been nice having a key to the office and a space I can call “my own”.

Today, I went to class, went to Pines realizing there was no good food so left, went to clean up the ICRA office, went to my next two classes, went to Pines and then actually ate out of desperation, continued cleaning up the ICRA office, went to class, and then went home to watch Glee (which Amul watched half of). Afterwards I went over to Geetha’s place to play Jeopardy before we downed some delicious Nyquil.

History
On May 24th, 1977, Nixon has been interviewed on TV chat shows by David Frost and has defended the right that the President is within his rights to order phone tapping and burglaries if it is in the interests of public safety and has justified the use of these in the Watergate Scandal . I still want to watch the Frost movie.
News
A former aide to Sarah Palin slammed the ex-chief executive in the scorching new tell-all, “Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of our Tumultuous Years,” out Tuesday. Frank Bailey, who began working for the former governor of Alaska during her successful 2006 gubernatorial campaign and stayed through her failed bid for vice president, told CNN that he was “terrified” of the potential for her to become the nation’s second-in-command. TRUE TRUE.

P.S.: Girl
