After downing a bottle of 5-hour energy this morning, Geetha proceeded to the library, where she would be accompanied by John Tran at approximately 2 PM. He had lagged due to his persistent need to do some reading in his local apartment, and his trip to CV for a delicious waffle. They studied for quite a bit, her studying organic compounds while he was studying Americanization in Europe. For dinner they had stir fry at Pines, a delicious delicacy – her having disgusting Peanut sauce, and him having delicious Saigon Sizzle (cooked by the best Stir-Fry chef there!). This black chef asked her what ethnicity she was, and she said “Indian”. He responded by saying, “Oh, I’m 1/3 Cherokee”. She said Indian, not Native American fool! After they went back to Geisel she snapped some pictures for the 100th day of this 365 Project – which happened to be her O-Chem Notes. As she got distracted from studying O-Chem, Tran watched Citizen Cane, which was a revolutionary movie because of its camera-work and contributions to cinema at the time, but not that great in the grand scheme of thing. Definitely not deserving of best movie of all time from Ebert Roeper. They went back to her apartment, where she would feed him Frosted Flakes, to which he would whine and say “It’s not Trix”. Silly John Tran, Trix are for kids. The night ended when he left, and she ended the night studying.
To all my readers: Thank you for reading! I have made Day 100 of Project 365, which means only 265 Days to go!!!!! PS: Election Results will probably not be known until TOMORROW. | On April 10th, 1925, The Great Gatsby”, a story is set in Long Island’s North Shore and New York City during the summer of 1922 written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, is published. and is now often regarded as an example of the Great American Novel. The Great Gatsby has become a standard text in high school and university courses on American literature in countries around the world. GREAT BOOK. It helped me through my Amy Tran period 🙂 |

| An extremist political party known as Students First has attempted to hijack campus politics by trying to disqualify all other candidates. Last week the student body at UCSD voted in an open election for their student representatives for the upcoming academic year. Results were scheduled be announced the evening of Friday April 8th, but were delayed because of Students First. Using a bureaucratic technique known as “grievances,” Students First filed 54 of these “grievances” against opposing parties and candidates in an attempt to get them disqualified. It was at this point that elections at UCSD took a more interesting turn. –> DETAILS AT: http://ucsdcalrev.wordpress.com/2011/04/10/students-first-guide-to-winning-ucsd-as-elections-disqualify-your-opponents/ |
