I couldn’t resist in using today’s picture I took on library walk, because it was just too ironic. But it really worked as a branding technique to get persons from all walks of life to take a galance at the spider web loaded with InnerVarsity/post-secret esque things next to it. Props to them for standing out enough to make it as my picture of the day.

Other than that, it was a relatively chill day. At midnight, me and Amul played a terrible memory game called Set, which required way too much thinking to be considered a game. Shortly thereafter, sleep consumed both of us. I went to work in the morning, went to my ICRA one on ones (zzz), went to Subway (which was gross, and I’m never eating there again!), went to a class with a really boring guest lecturer, went to Geisel with Geetha where I fell asleep cause I still had somewhat of a headache, went to a UCSD Cares meeting, went to my other class, went to Foodworx with Geetha and then watched Glee (a relatively good episode about alcohol that gave me some season 1-esque vibes), and then I went back to my apartment. I got my camera in the mail at SAC (YAY!), so tomorrow on Day 54 will be the first day of me using my new camera. Super exciting! I ended the night reaching level 5 on Kingdom of Loathing as well as typing up notes from my classes.

Rahm Emanuel, the former chief of staff to President Barack Obama, won the Chicago mayoral election over five other challengers Tuesday, topping the 50% threshold to avoid a runoff vote, CNN projects. With almost 75% of the vote counted, Emanuel had almost 55% of the vote, far outdistancing his rivals. Former Chicago School Board head Gery Chico was in second place with 25%, while City Clerk Miguel del Valle had 9% and former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley Braun had more than 8%. The other two candidates both had less than 2%. Good for him! I probably wouldn’t have worked for him myself though….
On February 22nd, 1997, Scottish scientists from the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh announce they have successfully cloned an adult sheep named Dolly, The sheep was born in July of 1996, and Dolly was the world’s first cloned mammal. Hopefully I can the world’s first cloned human. Wouldn’t that be exciting? I say 24 me’s would be excellent.
