What a swell day. At work today, I was going to deliver a package for my boss by walking it to mail services. Fortunately, he saw me wandering outside the door and yelled at me to take the Cart so my feet wouldn’t hurt. So I did. It’s always a fun joyride to take the cart anywhere, hence my picture of the day being my wonderful parking job at Campus Services. I decided to kill two birds with one stone, not by running them over, but by metaphorically driving the cart to Warren. While there I got some ICRA Spirit Night posters approved, and hung up in a short timespan. Soon thereafter, I went back to work and made some photocopies for one of the employees there.

Lunchtime hit me, and I joined Brittney and Leah at Library Walk where we walked to Pines and ate. It’s nice to see them every once in a while, even if it’s not as often as it used to be (every day freshman year). After, was my 1 on 1 on Jorge, which was as useful as it always is (not). Then, I went to the Library to chill for half an hour, until me and Katherine went back to my apartment to watch 2 episodes of Glee. That was chill too – hopefully she follows through with her weekly 3PM appointments (aha… not likely). And then I ate, went to class, and then spent the rest of the night at the library typing up my notes. I have a midterm next week, and needed to type up my notes to print out tomorrow at work so I can study over the weekend. Yeah, fun stuff! People I saw at the library included Alexis, and Tran, who I must go to church with at some point. When we walked out the door, the alarm started beeping, which tells me how dangerous our friendship could potentially be. That was the end of the night.

LinkedIn Corp.’s plan to raise as much as $175 million in an initial public offering may be the first in a wave of share sales for U.S. social-networking companies. The largest professional-networking site plans an IPO after turning a profit in the first nine months of last year and more than tripling revenue between 2007 and 2009, it said in a filing yesterday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Other companies that foster online interaction may follow suit. LinkedIn is at the forefront of social-Web startups that aim to replicate the successes of Internet pioneers, such as Google Inc. and Amazon.com Inc., and avoid the fate of sites like Pets.com Inc., which shut less than a year after its IPO. Good for them… fortunately I wish employers actually used this service. -_-.
On January 27th, 1926, John Logie Baird, gives the first public demonstration of a television system in London. The BBC started the first public broadcasts in London in 1936. Regular television broadcasts began in the United States in 1939. And British television has been giving us such wonderful hits ever since….. Pop Idol… X Factor… Britain’s Got Talent… Hell’s Kitchen…. and Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares

P.S.: Life is more than money. Time was never money. Time was never cash, Life is still more than girls, Life is more than hundred dollar bills And roto-tom fills. Life’s more than fame and rock and roll and thrills. All the riches of the kings end up in wills we got information in the information age. But do we know what life is outside of our convenient Lexus cages? She said he said live like no tomorrow. Every moment that we borrow brings us closer to the God who’s not short of cash. Hey Bono i’m glad you asked, life is still worth living, life is still worth living!
