I only really did two things today: First, I went to Geisel to take care of some schoolwork. (mostly Comm/History stuff). I finally realized at some point in the day that I needed to drop my pirates class, which will alter my schedule ever so slightly. The day ended with a visit to Phil’s yet again (I won’t go after a while after today I think….) with Jake, Tyler, Victoria Payne, & Matthew Diamond. That pretty much sums up my day. By the way, the picture of Phil’s is of the same thing, but in the nighttime (so technically it is indeed a different picture).
| Two people were shot dead and two sheriff’s deputies were wounded late Sunday afternoon outside a Walmart store in western Washington state, a Kitsap County Sheriff’s spokesman said. Three sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 3:45 p.m. Sunday after getting a call about a suspicious person “from a bystander who had concerns about a person inside the store,” Deputy Scott Wilson said. This is alarming due to the amount of time I go to Wal*Mart everytime I’m back in Orange County (not so much when I’m in San Diego…). |  |

On January 23rd, 1964, The 24th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States is Ratified which removed the right to vote in federal elections on payment of a poll tax or other types of tax. I don’t really care about this amendment, I just want to point it it’s the 24th one!. Also tomorrow just so happens to the 24th of January, and the first 24 of 12 in my 365 series. |
