Day 23: My PHILosophy.

January 23rd 2011

I only really did two things today: First, I went to Geisel to take care of some schoolwork. (mostly Comm/History stuff). I finally realized at some point in the day that I needed to drop my pirates class, which will alter my schedule ever so slightly. The day ended with a visit to Phil’s yet again (I won’t go after a while after today I think….) with Jake, Tyler, Victoria Payne, & Matthew Diamond. That pretty much sums up my day. By the way, the picture of Phil’s is of the same thing, but in the nighttime (so technically it is indeed a different picture).

Two people were shot dead and two sheriff’s deputies were wounded late Sunday afternoon outside a Walmart store in western Washington state, a Kitsap County Sheriff’s spokesman said. Three sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 3:45 p.m. Sunday after getting a call about a suspicious person “from a bystander who had concerns about a person inside the store,” Deputy Scott Wilson said. This is alarming due to the amount of time I go to Wal*Mart everytime I’m back in Orange County (not so much when I’m in San Diego…).
On January 23rd, 1964, The 24th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States is Ratified which removed the right to vote in federal elections on payment of a poll tax or other types of tax. I don’t really care about this amendment, I just want to point it it’s the 24th one!. Also tomorrow just so happens to the 24th of January, and the first 24 of 12 in my 365 series.

P.S.: You say you’re looking for happiness, but when it comes, you run away from it. You tell yourself you don’t deserve it. There’s not much more that I can do. Now the rest is up to you. Until you love yourself, you’ll never change.
