So, during my Senior year of high school, I got around to scooting several universities in California. This was done through various means which includes Quizbowl and Admit Days.
Here comes!
We went to a USC Tournament for Quizbowl, for the first portion.

In all fairness, the USC campus is very pretty, even though I never actually applied. I think it would have been a decent school to get into (although I probably couldn’t afford it even if I tried).
Next stop: LA! Of course, this is my dream school, but getting rejected actually was a mixed blessing because I have met both wonderful people in San Diego and got higher grades (LA is known for having a foreign language and lots of general education requirements, while Warren College @ UCSD is not!)
UC Irvine was always one of my choices for college, but for some reason, I felt like commuting wouldn’t be part of the full college experience. And thus I settled for UCSD! I went there on ADMIT Day with Howard, and it quite fun. Buying a UCSD sweater = selling your soul to the college… Well actually no, but the intent to register is!
I forgot to mention, we ate quite a bit at these collegesssssss:
Jonny. Panda Express. UCLA.
Jonny. TACO BELL. UCI.
And Ross Durand was there too, good shit!
On another tangent, we went to Rancho’s talent show that year too (mostly for quiz waivers), but it was also quite fun.
That has got to be one of the most awkward pictures ever taken. Oh well.
ON yet another random tangent, I also went hiking my senior year with Ecology Club (Not a very organized club, Brian Nguyen, but I also met my Ex there…. LOL.)
