For the month of April, I will pay extra attention to the foods that I consume on a day-to-day basis. In addition to the exercise regiment I have on and off again done in the past few months, I will need to start eating healthier and “minding what I eat”. My metabolism always slows down, and as a result, I will need to remedy that with the appropriate rules, as listed below:
1) Abstain from Phil’s BBQ. It will benefit me health-wise and money-wise considering how much I’ve spent on those baby back ribs.
2) Every meal must have some sort of vegetable.
3) Avoid overly greasy foods.
4) Absolutely no fast food. Though it’s quick and convenient, it in the end will lead to future health problems.
5) Smaller meals. Restaurant serving sizes are normally too large for the average person.
6) Be mindful of what I’m eating. Do not eat out too often.
7) Do not consume too many sugary drinks (includes Boba – limit once a week?).
8) Junk food must be avoided. Hot Cheetos are a no.
Let me know if there’s any other health “rules” I should dictate for myself.
April Fool’s on the Phil’s though. Never give up “the one”.
