Many things have happened throughout my life and many obstacles have presented themselves to me through my tenure in mostly high school, college, and post-baccalaureate life. And yet, my stress level is now at all-time high in my ability to balance the struggles of student teaching – in lesson planning, teaching, grading, and of course the teaching performance assessments to be completed by me.

At the same time, it is imperative I remain calm in the face of all adversity – whether it be dealing with the problems of classroom management, the problems of balancing work and play, or the problems of simply not burning myself out. The first year I get a job teaching will be much much worse in terms of my workload. However, at least I will be getting paid to do so. Whichever the case, the stress of student teaching and schooling will pay off in the long run with the experience needed to get farther ahead.

In the meanwhile, I stay calm hanging out with others, eating, going to the gym, reading a book, watching Netflix, and of course lounging around. Music is one medium I have always used to conquer the demons of the past, whether it be my emotional days of high school, or low points in my life that were stepping stones towards a brighter future. I can only say I’m happier now than I was approximately one year ago from this date. I hope to continue to de-stress in order to maintain the proper health I want.

I went to a Cosmos advanced screening this week, and let me just preface this by saying: It’s extraordinary. EVERYBODY should watch this show. This Sunday. At 9 PM. on FOX, national geographic channel, FX, Fox Sports 1, and Fox Sports 2.

And of course I’m excited for the epic return of 24 MAY 5th on FOX. 🙂
