Day 352: Capitalism at its best

December 18th, 2011
Roughly an hour after I woke up, I went with Annie, my other sister, my mommy and my daddy to a not-so-delicious Pho restaurant. While my parents went shopping afterwards I proceeded with Annie to Tar-get to buy subsequent gifts. While I bought some Christmas cards and “travel kits”, my sister roamed the aisles searching for a gift for my parents, ultimately failing. We went home afterwards to take a short break, before Nam came over to take me and Annie back to Westminster Mall. My sister failed yet again finding anything in various stores, so she proceeded back to Tar-get where she made some of her final selections. We went to Wal*Mart afterwards where she finally settled on some secret gifts I must not disclose to the general public. While there I caught Capitalism at its best in the form of a Santa Clause picture being made by various soda bottles. We went home afterwards to eat dinner and relax before going back to Main Place Mall. I pressured Annie and Nam into watching Paranormal Activity 3 which made them pout like whiny children. A woman told me to shut up during “The Help” as I whispered to Nam and Annie whether to leave the movie theater. Clearly, she was not learning the lesson of the movie, to like.. help people. We went outdoors afterwards to finalize Nam’s christmas shopping for my sisters, as I roamed the mall back and forth getting various free samples from Wetzel Pretzels. In the end we capitalism won today as we emptied our subsequent pockets to provide for the businesses of the United States of America. We are the 99%. Anyway, I ended the night at home writing Christmas Cards while simultaneously watching How I Met Your Mother.
