Period 1: I taught Film to Group 3, and they were relatively rowdy. Having not brought a computer because I thought I wouldn’t need to, I had no film clips to show them, so I subsequently improvised. I made them draw a picture of their favorite movie, and then made them present a silent film clip to the rest of the class. Afterwards we played heads up seven up, rock paper scissors with the entire class, and then played a trivia game with them. Apparently, nobody knows or cares about our second president. Poor John Adams. This class was pretty misbehaved I must say.
Period 2: I taught Math to Group 4, but because they already got the same exact math lesson I taught them yesterday, I made them play addition wars with cards, and also math trivia games with the entire class. Fun Fun Fun Fun?. This class was somewhat behaved.
Period 3: I taught Film to Group 2, and this group was very energetic and lively. They were at least very entertained by what I had prepared for them. The silent skit activity made them super excited, and playing heads up seven up made their day. Also, I got them to write stories and trade them with one another and continue them (A.D.D stories in other words). At the end of the day I was satisfied because one of the girls told me that was her favorite class of the day.
Afterwards we all signed out, and I bused back to campus, meeting Geetha at the library. I saw Victor while there, and we chatted for a brief bit. Me & Geetha bused back to Von’s, where I took my subsequent picture of the day. I bought eggs to make a delicate yet special recipe dinner of rice, spam, & eggs. DELICIOUS. Me and Geetha ate while talking to Lauren before I bused Geetha back to her place. After going home I was too tired to do laundry, and subsequently read “The Complete Directory to Prime Time Television” to bed.
