Spring Break ended with a take no prisoners attitude – on food that is. In the morning I would eat some Pho at home, and then go to Regals with Nam & my sister Jenny. (snacks at dollar tree of course). $5 movies on Sundays! Hoorah! We watched Rango, which was a terrible movie…. so I’m surprised it got such high ratings on rotten tomatoes. My sister and I both fell asleep during parts of the movie. It wasn’t funny. At all. Nam disagrees. After going home, I finished Pulp Fiction, which is a GREAT movie. It was entertaining, and it’s non-linear plot devices make the movie very unique and different from the core of Hollywood movies out there today. Afterwards, it was back to San Diego as I ultimately left Orange County with Earle and Thiep. Together, we went to a “rest stop” area, and took bathroom breaks along the way, while also gossiping and exchanging tales on the way there. We would go to Phil’s BBQ, which we waited in line for roughly an hour and a half. I snapped a picture when we got to the “21 Minutes 14 Seconds” wait stop, which in reality is much longer. The food was delicious, and as they departed, I went back to my room to unpack, and then went over to Geetha’s place to catch up.
