Finals are officially over, and even though it’s not actually a Friday, it certainly feels like one. With Rebecca Black’s song Friday still stuck in my head, with the anti-climatic conclusion of my finals, and with a visit to TGI Friday’s comes to fruition the title of my blog, and my picure of the day. I woke up and immediately studied practically the entire day for my COSF126 final, before heading to Price Center to have linner with Howard, Torres, and Leandro (with Chou kind of visiting for a bit. apartment reunion!) Tapex ftw!. After we ate, we went to Yogurt World, where Howard was the sole person to grab any food. After loitering around center hall for a while talking about random things, me and Torres would finally head into both of our last final of Winter Quarter. I took it, and it was easy! I definitely thought I overstudied, which kind of makes me sad in a way. Better safe than sorry, I guess?
Afterwards, I headed over to Geetha’s place to watch Glee. After being interrupted in the middle to go a Co-Board event with Yammi, Charlene, Frankie, and Co-Board, etc., me & Geetha ultimately went to Friday’s to celebrate the end of finals and the end of our quarter effectively, plus the fact that would be leaving the next day. We went back, watched more Glee, watched 2 episodes of Degrassi (well, she fell asleep), and the night ended.
| Sisterly love took on a whole new meaning for Anaiah Rucker last month, when the 9-year-old girl saved her little sister’s life by letting herself get hit by a pickup truck. Anaiah and her 5-year-old sister, Camry, were crossing the street to catch the bus for school when the accident happened, ABC affiliate WSBTV in Madison, Ga., reports. “I love her more than anything,” Anaiah told the station from her Atlanta hospital room. “I pushed my sister out of the way so she wouldn’t get hit.” Morning Express reports Anaiah nearly died from her injuries, which included two broken legs — the left leg was amputated, a broken neck and spleen damage. She also lost a kidney. WOW. | ![]() |

On March 15th, President Johnson pledges to Congress and millions of American Homes that we shall overcome what he called “a crippling legacy of bigotry and injustice.” that exists in this country by acting on legislation designed to remove every barrier of discrimination against citizens trying to register and vote. And did he? Kind of, while helping to create the welfare state at the exact same time. |
