Words of affirmation are an important love language in the world, spreading joy to broken hearts everywhere.
In anticipation for the upcoming thanksgiving break, I had the builders club write letters of thankfulness to either teachers, friends, or their parents.
I think it’s important for people to recognize the simple things they can do in the world to make things a better place for those around them. I’m hopeful that these positive values translate when these students become adults, so they can add positive contributions to their society.
We all know there’s a bit too much negatively in the world today- mostly spread through the mainstream media or social media in general. I think the only way to truly combat that is to spread as much kindness as possible in our everyday lives.
