Learning is fun, as seen in a dollar tree store banner. Tell that to many of my students and they’ll laugh in your face.

It’s very disheartening that the students that need education the most, aka the socially disadvantaged, value it the least. Still, we press on our daily duties as educators to inspire the youth of America. I would argue I’m not doing a great job this year in science in the co-teaching role, but I did my best in my own classroom when I ran history. Still, I doubt fun would be the adjective used by a majority of learners at Dale.
As a side note, wandering the halls of dollar tree makes my wife so giddy. I’m glad she’s not high maintenance like other girls who like to collect designer handballs. We could probably buy thousands of items at this store and still spend less than a high-maintenance gold digger.
I personally think learning is fun, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to increase learning of leadership skills in the spring.
In summary. Learning is fun, just as wandering the aisles of dollar tree.
