Something I could not get out of my head today was various comments from strangers encountered.
First, at the Olive Garden, after we finished our meal, an older couple next to us told us “You guys are doing great! Saw the transition taking turns feeding the baby. It was seamless!”. It was nice to get a compliment and recognize we’re both doing our part to help Kai efficiently. (While of course eating the Tour of Italy).
Later, at Ross, while in line at check out, an older father told me how calm Kai was in his stroller, and that I’m doing a good job. Well, thanks stranger.
Finally, while putting away the stroller into the trunk, a Mexican man passed by and said “I used to do that”.
Funny how parents can all relate to one anothers’ struggles in life.
