As my Spring Break comes to an end, so does Kai’s.
First, a breakfast buffet at the Hyatt before departing San Diego. Delicious. He could not indulge in any of the foods there.
Afterwards, a small flu shot for Kai, resulting in very minimal pain.
Later – a supposed pool party for a friend that ended up being on a different date.
No fret – it was time for another buffet for Kai, and Kai’s first buffet he could partake in. At Shabuya, we just cooked his hot pot vegetables in hot water. He was able to try a few pieces, included a deliciously cooked quail egg. All I know is quail eggs make me and Katherine both very gassy, so I’m assuming it’ll be the same for our genetic outspring.
Finally, a shopping spree at TJ Maxx where I attempted to put Kai to sleep, but instead he refused and just opted to play peek-a-boo with me myself, lifting up and down the covers of his baby carriage. Yikes. Anyway, if it’s a good enough store for Amber Heard, it’s good enough for us.
Though the break is slowly coming to an end, our parenting adventures have only just begun.
