A dragon’s main trait is POWER.
I used to always feel guilty taking days off from work. Maybe it was because of the hard work ethic instilled in me by my parents, who never took a day off. Maybe it was the dreaded policies of Bright Star, that made teachers feel super guilty about requesting time off. Regardless, I no longer feel guilt because I’m no longer taking time off for myself, but rather for Kai.
And Kai demonstrated tremendous power today in surviving his first flu shot! Props to him!
I demonstrated power later that day by running 8.5 miles after Kai’s bedtime.
We collectively will demonstrate power tonight as we listen to our pediatrician’s advice on no longer feeding Kai when he wakes up in the middle of the night. Wish us luck in our amazing journey.
PS: Kai does not look good in hats, much like his father.
