Metacognition is the process of “thinking about thinking”.
I find myself thinking a lot specifically at Kai, even when I’m elsewhere, like work today.
My whole life went from being revolved around finding a wife, then spending time with Katherine to now being revolved around raising a child. Quite interesting how life shifts before your very ends.
And it’s interesting that that same train of thought is making me think whether 180 hours with Kai every year would be worth it in the long run.
We’ll see what happens, but I’m currently quite happy with the time I have with him after work every weekday (from approximately 4 to 830, aka his bedtime).
