A day off from work with baby Kai can sometimes be more work. However, since I’m getting better at everything with practice, today was quite pleasant. As long as I’m following the proper wake windows and ensuring he is properly fed and napped.
A small thing today that gave me a boost of energy was taking Kai for a walk. In our townhouse complex there’s a little grass area for play. I just went out for some sunlight, but I imagine when he gets older he’ll want to run around that area and play some more. Looking forward to those moments of joy.
I also took him into the model home (1 bedroom apartment). I have no idea who would buy a 1 bedroom condo for 600,000, but I guess there is supply for it in Southern California. It’s a nice little crawling area for him since the master bedroom happens to be fully carpet. Child-proof for the win. Maybe I can take him again in the future but bring some more toys.
