Another day.. another milestone hit.

Not only is Kai officially 6 months old, but he is crawling (slowly but surely). After weeks of swimming on land, he is finally able to propel himself forward. Which means of course we now need to childproof everything.

And with two of his teeth growing in, it’s just going to be a matter of time before he starts consuming solids. The sooner, the better obviously. Too bad they don’t make Gerbers baby bbq food for babies, because that would be an easy transition into his favorite restaurant Phil’s BBQ.

As for me, I’m 4 months into the school year, and high school (despite a few challenges), is continuing to prove itself a much less stress-inducing environment. Despite being surrounded by a sea of negativity in the form of the staff members there, the students have been a delight overall. Even the annoying ones can be reasoned with, and conditioned into eventually doing the right thing.

Looking forward to the next 2 months and a sea of firsts for Kai to celebrate. His first Thankgiving. Gobble Gobble. His first Christmas (which means his first Photos with Santa), and his first New Year’s Eve countdown. Will he last to midnight? Doubtful.
