Updated Genealogy

My genealogy has updated on Ancestry.com. According to the most updated of all DNA test results, I am now only 84% Vietnamese and 16% Dai.

Which means I’m less Vietnamese than I previously thought, and more Dai (Some combination of Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand ancestry). I guess that makes sense, and explains why I like Pad Thai so much. Still 100% Asian.

Of course, I’m jealous of Katherine, who has more fun of a combination of genes. She is 61% Vietnamese, 27% Southern Italian, 11% Dai, and 1% Northern Italian. That explains why she likes pasta so much, despite not liking the mother of all Italian restaurants, Olive Garden.

This means of course this is the projected race of our future child: 72.5% Vietnamese, 13.5% Dai, 13.5% Southern Italian, and .5% Northern Italian. Of course, they will be 100% American and bleed red, white, and blue. Can’t wait to see how ugly they turn out.
