This is a nice ranking of some Asian foods. Obviously this isn’t representative of all Asian countries in the world, since I haven’t tried many of them. That being said, I will do my part in choosing subtle foods from every Asian delicacy to be included in my rankings. This is all subjective by the way.
#1: The Japanese have really stepped it up. I know people like them for the invention of Sushi and Ramen, but I personally favor Japanese curry in the form of Keema curry at CocoIchibanya. Quite delicious.
#2: The Koreans have made my mouth water with some of my favorite Korean dishes including Korean Tofu Soup, Korean BBQ, and of course military stew. I would dare to say some of the best bbq places I’ve been to in the world have been Korean BBQ locales like Quarters. However, Phil’s BBQ clearly surpasses them all.
#3: Vietnam. The motherland. Of course I’ll always have a delicious craving for Pho, Broken Rice, and Vermicelli with Eggrolls.
#4: Thai Tea and Thai food in general is quite delicious. Me and Katherine frequently visit Jumpa Thai, and order our standard Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice. Quite a delicious, toxic combination.
#5: Indian Food. I love me some Chicken Tikki Masala and their Naan bread at Punjabi Tandoor. Even if it does give me the runs every now and then.
#6: Chinese food is pretty delicious. I like me some Panda Express of course. Every Chinese restaurant I’ve been to has been not as good as Panda Express. I’m probably used to the flavor of their oil, and MSG.
#7: Jollibee is alright I guess. I think my Filipinos friends could probably make better Spaghetti with their Banana Ketchup, but that remains to be seen.
I must clarify that this is not my rankings of Asian people, just Asian food. In fact, my groomsmen were Indian, Vietnamese, and Korean, while my DJ was Japanese. No matter what, I’ll continue eating Asian foods with all races for the rest of my life.
