Blog post #2000

This is my 2000th blog post. It is quite a milestone in my life. Blogging remains one of the main ways I communicate with myself and the rest of the world. And though most of my blog posts are rather mundane and boring, I’m always grateful for the opportunity to look back and see how crazy I was in high school, college, and even early adulthood. As much as I have changed over the years, my central core remains mostly the same.

As I start to navigate international waters into Alaska, it will be a huge metaphor for where my life is headed next. I have reached two main goals in life already by age 32, most notably to get married and to have a profession I’m proud of. I know the next few years will provide me more challenges as I potentially enter the housing market and have mini Trans running all over the place. And yet I will not be perturbed. So long as I remain true to my convictions, it will be smooth sailing from here on out. With a little bit of turbulence.

I am grateful to my family, friends, and Katherine for getting me where I want to be. Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.
