Most venues take the opportunity to seize upon the dedication of their fan base by charging enormous sums of money for inadequate amounts of food. Dodger stadium was no exception to the rule charging ridiculous prices for parking, alcohol, and obviously food.
That being said, it was clear to me and all those in observation of teacher appreciation day that the Dodger fan base is much more rigid and strong than the Angel fan base. In the end I was a sucker, ending up spending more than $100 at the end of my subsequent visit.
But it was kind of worth it spending some time with ex-employees and of course getting a beautifully delicious Dodger sweater I will rarely ever wear again.
Here’s hoping the next great occasion brings more opportunity for over spending. Taylor swift eras tour, here we come.
