I completed the boba rankings. Now it’s time to show my fast food and restaurant rankings.
First, here’s my list of favorite fast food restaurants all tiered up.

If I had my choice of a burger I would go to In&Out, only because their quality is quite consistent. For chicken I would go to chick-fil A. For “mexican” I would go to Chipotle. For Asian, I would go to Panda Express. For some reason everytime I eat at Panda Express, I am much happier than I would be at a typical Chinese restaurant. Maybe my taste buds just suck, but that’s life. For pizza I would eat at Papa John’s, because he shares my name.
On the B tier are some places that are still good, although not quite as good as “the best” tier. Jack in the box holds nostalgic memories in my household because I ate it so much growing up. Cane’s is good, but a little overrated so I put it below the top level. Popeyes also holds nostalgic value because I used to work there, and still eat there to this day despite dropping chicken on the ground various times while working there.
The C tier comprises places that are quite average that I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat. Little Caesar’s I would go to if I’m craving a really cheap pizza. Likewise, McDonald’s is good if I ever crave a Big Mac or Chicken Nuggets.
The D tier are places that are quite disgusting in my opinion. Whatever is in KFC’s herbs and spices they can keep it there and away from my stomach.
The F tier comprises places that are just utter garbage. Burger King gave me food poisoning in college so it holds a high level of hate in my heart. Subway and Wendy’s are forgettable in the combination of sandwiches and salads I have eaten there in the past.
Next we have “chain restaurants”, which I define as any restaurant that has more than one location in the United States.

I will also love Phil’s BBQ, and it will always remain at the top of my list no matter what. Full rack of baby back ribs with a large side of fries. Likewise, I like Earl of Sandwiches for their sandwiches, and Howling Rays for their Nashville Chicken.
The restaurants on the A tier are quite good as well, and I don’t mind visiting them whenever I am craving pasta, burgers, chicken, korean bbq, or louisiana type food.
Restaurants on the B tier are also good, and hold some special place in my heart. Hooter’s has great breast and thighs. I got a free meal to Mimi’s cafe in elementary school for writing an essay about Garden Grove. Souplantation is good, despite not having a whole lot of meat. Rest in peace forever. Damn you Covid-19!
Restaurants in the C tier either gave me nasty food or bad experiences. Benihana has a nice show (gimmick), but the food is rather lackluster. I’ve had terrible experiences every time I’ve gone to BJ’s, but I do like their pizookies. Mae’s Cafe is kinda gross, but it’s one of the few enterprises open in Garden Grove after midnight.
Places in the D tier I wouldn’t visit unless the food was free. Ihop does give free food out once a year on national pancake day. Sizzler has a good salad bar, but for a place that is meant to serve steaks…. their steaks are…. rather terrible.
Places in the F tier should not exist. Claimjumper is disgusting. Shakey’s pizza has pizza that tastes worse than 7/11. Dickey’s and Lucille’s BBQ should close up overnight because they don’t need to exist.
That being said, everything here is my opinion and I hope you enjoyed reading this post.
