Once upon a time, a troll in the H Mart Parking lot placed a bucket of fresh paint in the middle of the driveway. Obviously, a smart and keen driver like myself would be able to successfully swerve and avoid said bucket. Unfortunately, due to the chaos of the parking lot (with many unskilled Asian drivers), I was unable to navigate around the bucket. After eating dinner at Kaju, I saw that my car had some paint all over it.
This is a picture of the wheels about a week after said incident – as you can see the paint is not going away. Luckily my dad was able to scrap away most of the paint off the exterior of the car (while I stared from afar), but the wheel and undersurface of the car is permanently damaged and scarred.

I’d like to think that my car has been through so much over the past couple of years. 70,000 miles and a few scrapes and bruises along the way, my car is very a symbol and representation of me. And luckily, there has been no total loss car accident in the last 7 years. Despite the scars and damages I’ve encountered over the year, I’ve also experienced a happy new paint job in the form of engagement. I can’t say much has changed, but the wedding planning is well underway for a grand adventure in February. Together, we will paint a new adventure and life together for all to see.
