As a parent, Elizabeth Lee will be in the future be simultaneously a tiger mom and nurturing as well. She will teach her kids the value of hard work while at the same time loving them as she does her current students. And she will send them to private school till at least middle school so they can be surrounded by a positive atmosphere. Having taught private school, the teachers there aren’t much better than public school teachers, but the environment and settings does allow for increased opportunities for success.
I have no doubt she’ll be a great parent, for she is a great teacher. Though we went through torture our first year at Rise Kohyang Middle School, those hurdles only taught us to become stronger and better teachers in the long run. I’m glad she’s happy at her current school, and I hope she enjoys her 5th to 30th year of teaching in the future.
