Father Tran is basically son Tran except much more hard-working, much more serious, and much more social and fun around his friends.
He also happens to hate communists very much. My dad is very much a Republican, only because the democrats were the ones to be anti-war during the Vietnam War (which is ironic because it was the Republican president Nixon that started Vietmanization).
That doesn’t matter as much. I can tell by his work ethic and how much he supports his family through hard work and occasional yelling when he was sewing for so many years from dusk to dawn. I’ll be eternally grateful that he taught me to drive as well. I have mimicked his style of showing people how we love them through hard work rather than nurturing words.
Thank you Father Tran and I hope to continue making you proud in the future. Even though I’m not a doctor. Unless I get my PHD in the future…
